"My Daughter's Journey: Reflections Of Our First Year Post Type One Diabetic Diagnosis" is a black and white, cut and paste style zine measuring 7" x 8.5". Page count not yet available (because I can't stop myself from creating new pages).
This zine has been created for three reasons: 1) to express the grief and other emotions surrounding my (then) six year old daughter's diagnosis with type one diabetes, and survival of often fatal complications. 2) To offer emotional support to parents with a newly diagnosed younger child. And 3), to offer insight to extended family and friends as to the emotional nature of diagnosis.
